The Company

Opportunity to join a manufacturing company based in the Bridgend area, who are looking for a new team member in their busy productive warehouse.

The Role

This is a permanent full-time position working a 40 hour week. You will work 8 hours a day between the hours of 06:00AM and 06:00PM Monday - Friday. The use of forklifts and driving code 2 HGV's is essential for this role.

Applicants with in-house forklift licenses from current or previous employment are welcome to apply.

Duties will include:

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Internal movement of stock
• Stock control using the warehouse management system
• Monthly stock checks
• Forklift truck operation
• Picking orders
• Moving goods between production, packing and dispatch areas
• Ensuring warehouse and vehicles are clean and tidy
• Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met

Requirements

The successful applicant will have the following experience qualifications and attributes:

• Previous warehouse operations experience is essential
• Experienced in operating forklift trucks essential
• Current forklift license - in-house licenses are acceptable
• Code 2 HGV license is also essential for this role
• Previous stock control experience
• Solid communication skills
• A team player who can also work well independently using own initiative
• Good at following instructions
• A self-starter
