We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Controller to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of their supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing MRP System:

Run production scheduling
Ensure components to support production are in stock
Oversee goods inwards and quality verification

• Stock Control:

Monitor and control stock levels
Measure stock loss and wastage
Plan and control warehouse layout

• Liaison:

Work closely with Production to meet Sales Demand requirements
Communicate with external suppliers, check quality and specifications, negotiate pricing, and monitor servicing and equipment availability

• Support Functions:

Assist with New Product Development (NPD), including surveying potential new suppliers
Support SALSA accreditation
Analyze supply chain data, solve issues, and implement alternative plans

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience:

Proficiency in an MRP and WMS environment
Familiarity with Sage software

• Skills:

Good standard of numeracy and literacy
Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines and maintain high production standards
Reliable, flexible, and committed to quality
Problem-solving skills with accuracy and motivation

• Additional Qualifications:

Forklift license would be beneficial
