The Company
Opportunity to work for a leading insulation provider specialising in energy efficiency solutions under government grant schemes. Their mission is to improve energy efficiency in residential and commercial properties, helping reduce carbon footprints and lower energy costs for their clients.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Insulation Specialist to join the team. The vacancy is due to the growth and expansion of the organisation and will be full time and permanent. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing cavity wall, internal wall, and external wall insulation, including the necessary finishing work.
You will work on site at clients premises and have use of a company vehicle.
Duties will include:
- Cavity Wall Insulation: Install insulation materials within cavity walls to enhance energy efficiency
- Internal Wall Insulation: Apply internal wall insulation with a focus on minimising disruption to the client's property
- External Wall Insulation: Install external wall insulation systems, including rendering and finishing, to protect and insulate buildings
- Finishing Work: Complete all finishing work to a high standard, ensuring a professional appearance and durability
- Compliance: Ensure all work meets industry standards and complies with relevant health and safety regulations
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, explaining the process and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications, experience and qualities.
- NVQ Level 2 in Insulation and Building Treatments with the relevant pathway (e.g., Cavity Wall, Internal Wall, External Wall Insulation) essential for this role
- Proven experience in cavity wall, internal wall, and external wall insulation is essential
- Strong knowledge of insulation materials and installation techniques
- Ability to perform high-quality finishing work, including rendering and other external finishes
- Familiarity with government grant schemes related to energy efficiency is a plus
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites around the Swansea area
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
